Though I primarily work digitally when drawing, I am still fond of the powdery pastels and expressive charcoals.

Charcoal and Pastel
Although I tend to work more in digital mediums now when drawing, I still have a love for the simplicity and tactile qualities of charcoal and colored pastels.
The limited palette makes me really push how I layer the colors as well as how I represent the value.
Plus, playing in the chalk dust is fun!
